Health log 5

Two days ago I finished my course of antibiotics called 'Betapen' for the treatment of Rheumatic Fever. I'm not sure what it was supposed to do exactly but I assume if I had Rheumatic Fever my pain would have subsided.

Unfortunately, this morning I woke up with and inflamed jaw. So painful that I cannot talk. It took me forever to eat pronutro this morning with a teaspoon. Crazy stuff.

Along with my jaw I have a pain in my short rib of the left side. Feels uncomfortable as if cracked.

These however are the least of my worries. My resting heart rate is still very high. It ranges from 85 to 130 beats per minute each day. I thinks its time I see a Cardiologist. Ever time I feel my heart rate pick up I get chest pains. At that point I wait for the symptoms of a heart attack. I can't say this is a very pleasant feeling.

Today I start my penicillin treatment. One injection per month for one year. This is going to be interesting. Woop woop!

But I have learnt one lesson for sure; I've learnt they value of a minute of life. Every minute to me is a gift that I treasure.

I know God is in control and He knows what He is doing. I trust Him. After all, if my journey now is to highlight the love Jesus has for us and allows some people to be inspired, or even, becoming followers if Jesus, then my life has got purpose. This hope is what calls me to continue serving my Lord in every way possible. Even in ill health.
